Resilient Port Innovation Mission to North-America

The goal of the NL Resilient Ports Innovation Mission to the United States and Canada (jointly North-American or NA) is to foster the NL Ports & Maritime innovation-ecosystem and growth of the strong economy for Port Electrification, Logistics and the Maritime sector in the United States and Canada. This mission will stimulate port electrification, resilience and innovation in NA by introducing Dutch innovations to the market.

About QuinteQ Energy
Advanced Flywheel & Sodium-ion energy storage technology for peakshaving port cranes and optimizing Port operation power consumption.

Track Record
Start of production Q4 2025, Two successful demonstrations at the Port of Rotterdam, over a dozen demonstrations in construction markets.

Mission Target
Establish partnerships for  demonstration projects and project funding. Targeting Terminal operators and Port Authorities.Lay the groundwork for scaling in NA market.

About AquaSmartXL
Headquartered in Rotterdam, we provide maintenance data solutions for fixed and floating assets, focusing on port infrastructure. Our in-house aquatic drones capture optical, infrared, and depth data to create objective assessments, detailed 3D models, and analyses for on-site inspection.

Track Record
Since our Founding, we have undertaken a broad range of projects  for  clients, including the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey, Port of Antwerp  and the Port of Amsterdam, as well as for various oil and gas companies like Shell, Vopak and Total.

To establish strategic connections with leading ports and their main contractors, while showcasing the value of our innovative solutions. By doing so, we aim to identify new opportunities, strengthen international partnerships
